Adjustable Solar Panel Mounting Frame. Large size.

Increase the output from your solar panels with this sturdy adjustable solar panel mounting frame. Tilting a solar panel up to face directly at the Sun can increase the solar output current by up to 100%.

For example, in late March of this year we took one of our 100 watt rigid framed solar panels and tilted it up from the horizontal position to face directly at the morning Sun. The output current almost doubled!

The frame can be bolted to the deck of your narrowboat or to the roof of your motorhome. When not in use or when travelling, the solar panel mounting frame can be locked in the horizontal position. When you reach your destination tilt the solar panels up to face the Sun and watch the output increase substantially.

These solar panel mounting frames can be used on any horizontal or vertical surface.  Use them on the deck of a narrowboat, the roof of a motorhome, against a wall or simply on the ground.

The robust, rustproof aluminium alloy construction will give many years of service.

The adjustable frame can be set to any angle from horizontal up to 90 degrees.

• Adjustable mounting frame and fasteners comprising:
  • 1 pair of aluminium alloy extrusions 685 mm
  • 1 pair of aluminium alloy extrusions 750 mm
  • 1 pair of aluminium alloy extrusions 375 mm
  • 4 sets of stainless steel screws
  • 6 sets of adjustment knobs with wingnuts

• No solar panel is included.

Suitable for solar panel widths of up to 80 cm. For example, use with any SunWorks rigid framed solar panel from 100 watts to 160 watts.

For smaller solar panels such as the SunWorks 100 watt Premium panel, take a look at the standard adjustable solar panel mounting frame. This smaller frame can support a solar panel of up to 60 cm width.

Both of these solar panel mounting frames can be modified to suit your application.

NB: This frame MUST be locked in the horizontal position when the vehicle or boat is in motion.

Mounting the solar panel frame on a curved or uneven deck.

If you have a curved , stepped or uneven deck you can still use these adjustable frames. Simply use our ‘Adjustable Mounting Feet’. These feet are fully adjustable to any height and provide a secure means of fitting a solar panel to the curved cabin top of a narrowboat or yacht. Sold in pairs.
