Fitting a solar panel to a narrowboat or any boat with a curved or uneven deck.

Fitting a solar panel to a narrowboat or any boat with a curved deck can be difficult. We have addressed the problem with these adjustable mounting feet. These feet have a swivel base which adapts to any curved or uneven surface. When used with our adjustable mounting frames these feet provide a universal and fully adjustable solar panel mounting system.

These mounts can also be attached directly to most rigid framed solar panels.

A long threaded stud allows the solar panel frame to be mounted to any uneven, stepped or curved surface.

The 65 mm base is made from glass-reinforced plastic and can be glued directly to the deck using Sikaflex adhesive.

Each 50 mm stud is made from stainless steel and is supplied with M10 stainless steel nuts, washers and spring washers.

The bracket is made from 6.5 mm aluminium and comes with M6 stainless steel bolts, nuts, washers and spring washers.

You will need one pair for use on a stepped deck, and two pairs if you are fitting a solar panel to a narrowboat across the top of a curved deck.

Use these feet in conjunction with our adjustable solar panel mounting frames.
