Semi flexible solar panels reach super efficiency
SunWorks semi flexible solar panels can be fitted to a curved surface such as a motorhome roof or the deck of a yacht.
These semi flexible solar panels use Sunpower back-contact cells for exceptionally high output power. Sunpower’s remarkable solar cells boast an output efficiency well over 20%. The new back contact technology means that more active cell is exposed to sunlight, increasing the cell’s efficiency and adding to the overall flexibility of the panel.
Sunpower have provided solar cells for Solar Impulse, the first solar-powered aeroplane to attempt a round the World flight. The semi flexible solar panels follow the contours of the aeroplane’s wings, providing maximum exposure to sunlight. The high output cells mean that the plane can sustain perpetual endurance, able to fly day and night without a drop of fuel.

These panels are very lightweight, robust, and at only 3 mm thick there is virtually no windage when glued, for example, to a caravan roof.
SunWorks semi flexible solar panels can also be used on boats and yachts, in non-impact areas, with complete confidence. Fit them to your spray hood or bimini top using Velcro tape. Or just glue them to the cabin sides.
Available in sizes from 20 watts to 100 watts. Panels can be connected together for larger outputs if required.
